Associations
American Academy Of Audiology (AAA)
The American Academy of Audiology is the world’s largest professional organization for audiologists. Members are dedicated to providing quality hearing care services through professional development, education, research, and increased public awareness of hearing and balance disorders.

American Speech And Hearing Association (ASHA)
ASHA is the worldwide professional, scientific and credentialing association for more than 130,000 members and affiliates who are speech-language pathologists, audiologists and speech/language/hearing scientists.

Louisiana Commission For The Deaf
The Louisiana Commission for the Deaf, a division of the Louisiana Department of Hospitals, provides accessibility services for persons whom are deaf, deaf-blind or have hearing loss or speech impairment. Their services include interpreting, telecommunications and general accessibility equipment, hearing aids, plus more.

Louisiana Speech-Language-Hearing Association (LSHA)
LSHA is the state’s professional association for speech-language pathologists and audiologists. Their mission is to make effective communication a human right, accessible and achievable for all Louisiana residents.

Starkey Hearing Foundation Hear Now Program
Hear Now is a national non-profit program committed to assisting deaf and hard-of-hearing persons with limited financial resources who reside permanently in the United States.

Application for Financial Assistance
The costs of services provided by The Emerge Center are based, to the greatest extent possible, on a person’s ability to pay. This form is for those individuals who would like to apply for reduced fees for these services.

Hear Now
HEAR NOW is program of last resort designed to assist those who have no other resources available to them for hearing aid assistance. It is an initiative of the Starkey Hearing Foundation, whose mission is to bring understanding among people through hearing care by focusing on awareness, educations, protection and treatment so the world may hear.
